Hey man, so you decided on the Dawes Device one, even though it's "ugly"? Lol.
Well, I'd say you should probably set the base as high as you can because you're no longer dealing with APC knock regulation ability. This way the boost controller doesn't have to bleed off as much boost to trick the wastegate, which I would think is better (fewer issues with spiking/creep). It's really a fine tuning thing, though as you'll find out. Make sure you use relatively short hose lengths to reduce the tendency to spike. Good luck!
