1) I *am* an editor/staff writer for an automotive trade magazine here in Holland. For all of my professional career, I've been succesfully making a living off it. AFAIK no one had real complaints about my writing.
What are your writing and/or editorial credentials?
I see four postings of yours listed here, and none of them strike me as particularly erudite and/or helpful.
2) I am not here for 'witty' one liners and remarks that are only for the incrowd. Those select few where it comes to the subjects discussed here, are mostly in my address book so I can mail them privately.
Thus, when I make a statement about one or more technical aspects I'll elaborate about the underlying philosophy and the experiences that led to that insight. There's already far too many wholesale statements like 'APC sucks' or 'dollar for dollar, X will be faster than Y' that IMO add nothing to a better understanding of what we are doing.
3) If you got no time to read something longer than three lines, just don't. Don't bitch about someone else's 'writing skills' instead. For someone for whom English is only a second language, I am doing allright.
4) Your last comment smacks of arrogance. For your sake, I hope you're the Editor of the New York Times or Road & Track. Otherwise, sir, you are way out of your depth.
