Hello from Mid-MO.
Dear Eric:
Duck Soup; a Marx Brothers (Groucho,Chico,Harpo,Zeppo) film, 1930's. Heavy-handed satire, many sight gags, some hilarious (still). Has endured for a good while, probably in stock at large video/dvd outlet. Phrase "duck soup" came into slang use, meant: easy to do, uncomplicated task.
not to feel sad about critics. some folk can find offense or feel anger easily; sometimes they have so much they cannot help sharing. . .
best to y'all,kimball
