I've seen a lot of talk about the potential for MBC's to cause a lean condition in these cars. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I can clear up this issue once and for all.
Am I mistaken in thinking that the ECU takes input from the MAP sensor and the O2 sensor and adjusts fuel and timing accordingly to compensate for anything out of safe parameters? If this is the case, any amount of boost below the 15.5 fuel cut shouldn't affect rich/lean running condition.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
