I have VDO boost gauges in both my 9Ks.
Orignally, one of the gauges vibed more
than the other.
My cure was to restrict the air flow to the gauge.
I made the restriction buy placing a plastic film
( a piece of a baggy) over the gauges' inlet.
Put a small hole (with a tooth pick) in the film.
Reinstall the hose, ---> no vibration.
It worked for me.
