We know of 2 people that installed Simple Digital Systems and both ate a piston! Tuning was a problem of course but other systems like Autotronic and Halltec correct more often so there's less chance of engine damage. Motec is clearly the best but also the most expensive (F1 technology)! I agree that a stand alone system is not much more than a stage II APC, RRFPR, and an A.I.D. but keep in mind that for the more serious systems fuel supply should also be upgraded which could tip the scales towards some proven bolt-ons. Also more H.P. than our units produce that are a direct bolt-on would destroy a C-900 5 speed even sooner. Another big factor is loosing all the drive-ability, cold start etc. than an otherwise modified system provides.
