900 turbo to RWD...possible?

Hello, I've always admired the Saab for its classy, unique look. My father has owned a number of 900s. I got a chance to drive his 900 turbo 5 speed that he drives like a grandma in. The shifter seemed a bit like jamming an oar into a wood-chipper, but the power that it made seriously surprised me. It seemed that once the boost gauge got a little bit past atmospheric, it started spinning...and it didn't stop roasting the tires till 6500 rpms or so. It surprised me that much that I accidently let it go a little past redline.
Anyway...the question!! The motor is mounted north/south, is there any type of kit or adapter for a bellhousing for a RWD transmission? Possibly a T5 from a mustang or something of the sort. I've heard of at least one person that put a stanger 5.0 in his 900, but I'd want to keep the Swedish power....and with that done, traction wouldn't be as big of a deal being RWD and all.
