Yes, '88 9000T standalone DI controller reprogrammed by Beek Auto Racing for a c900 race car. I made the wiring harness myself - as there's no interface with the LH 2.2 other than providing the rpm pulse signal, and I'm running an MBC for boost this is quite simple. Fried one controller though because of the pin numbers cast in the Bosch 25-pole connectors (1...13; 14...25) are the exact opposite of what they should be (1=13, etc.). The workshop manual, however has another quirk: here the pin # for the pressure sensor ground and signal wires are reversed. After the faults were corrected, it was more or less smooth sailing.

Apart from one thing: this particular LH 2.2 controller I used ('85 non-Lamdba) needed an additional circuit to 'translate' the DI rpm signal for the LH to read properly, Before that, the car wouldn't rev past 5,200 rpm.

Was it worth it? Seeing that the dyno operators I work with can read and re-map the EPROM, I now have a fully programmable ignition system which is streets ahead from the nasty boost retard, vacuum advance distributor capsule. I truly beleive it's the ignition system rather than the IC and other stuff considered 'not good enough' on the c900, that holds the performance of most modified cars back. The DI system seems to greatly help throttle resonse and smoothness at higher revs.

However, had I known about the cost (two sessions at Beek Auto Racing alone to make the thing work properly) beforehand I might have given the Trionic 5.2 system which works from the same Hall-effect crank sensor set up, a shot...
