that was the OEM head on my 88 9000 (built in September '87), but i think there was a mid year shift to the newer style as the 86-88 factory manual has a insert mentioning the tigher clearances of the newer style of oil feed. Now I have a ported 91 2.X head with new style oil feed, so all is good, I hope.
