Rick, the guy who was responsable for doing it has moved on to work at Brullen Exhaust (http://www.brullenexhaust.com) at 110 Dennison (Woodbine and Denisson), Unit #3 905-415-7733 M-F 9-5, Tu+Th until 8pm, Sa closed. NEW INFO: Ask for Alex instead - Rick has left to some place in Scar called Pipes? - no info on Canada411.com ...spoke to Alex at Brullen and ensure you tell him Ivan from GM Canada sent you if you go that route.

I'm sure the guys at NoyzBoyz are still capable but Rick offered newbies $700 for the job.

As for you qustions:
Noise: not really noticeably louder...just slightly deeper, kept everything from the resonator back stock, lifting the trottle after FOT you'll get a bit of a back girgle so that tells me significant restriction was removed. FOT in a tunnel you'll hear the growl but no much outside of that.

CEL: I was really concerned about that and it didn't happen, need to ensure the second o2 sensor is placed in the same relative location on the new cat as where it was from the old cat. The first o2 also still needs to be in the same place also.

Email me and I'll send you the .doc file I gave him to make mine as they worked on my car.

Alex said that his 303/304 installed with hi-flow cat would be ~$700 installed. He also said that my CarSound/MagnaFlow cat is a medium flow cat and that would be cheaper. But I can't attest to the CEL thing on a higher flow cat than mine. I'm at ivan.dazaATgm.com

Oh yeah - whoever does it, ensure they keep in mind the length of cord the second o2 sensor has as they had to move the cat closer to the front due to fit issues of the sensor...believe they used a 12" cat. You don't want them to fit in the bung (hole for o2 sensor), then realize they need to move it.
