so today I go to the shop & install a new sachs disk & PP.
whan I built the trans & installed the new engine I had checked the old clutch & it looked fine it was a beck borg PP & a sachs disk.
I have been tweaking the apc & the 3bar fp reg & flowier exhaust I had to turn up the FP shutoff because of the anoying stumble & than went up more on P & F in the apc so I am making atleast 15 lbs boost over 1/2 way into the red than tapering down.
the other day it was cold in the am & I got on it in 5th gear & fealt the clutch break loose.
I was gona have a disk made up with ceramic/bronse on the PP side & conventional friction on the other side but couldent come up with a good core to start with.
I went with an OE sachs PP & disk & on the way home it broke loose in fifth twice & its about 55 degrees out.
I am bummed but now I have the good core I need for the disk mod.
back to the old drawing board I guess
have fun JAK
