Supercharger on the na 2.3, dont worry dude im not gonna make fun of you, i was once looking into the same thing myself, what i was going to do is remove my air conditioning compressor.... and insert a G-60 supercharger, 9-11psi stock.... but a larger pulley could take care of that, your gonna have to do some math for the correct pulley size. After that, i was going to run it through a 9000 front mount. That way it would come out near the stock air box, the G-60 would be a decent choice and could be had on ebay for about 450 dollars, they are reliable if taken care of and maintained properly, anyone that tells you there unreliable time bombs, either had one and did not care for it properly, or had a freind that didnt care for it properly. I have contacted many g-60 builders about this, but alas my car was wrecked, so i am going to get a turbo. So im not going to tell you to go get an LPT, even though that is a viable option, if you strive to be different, do the supercharger. As for the procharger.... as far as i know they dont make a kit for the 2.3, or any saab for that matter, they tend to lean more toward domestic. there kits do go for about 4k so if you do have that kinda scratch go for it. You might try contacting vortech or someone of the such and try to urge them to create a kit for the c900 and the ng 900 and na 9000. They could make a killing for people such as you and me that want to add some boost to there car with out parting with the car that were attatched to. Anyway, another alternative is a venom nitrous kit... they provide safe power while adding 50-75hp, i know its not constant, but i had a SHO with nitrous.... fun fun fun. Venom is a super safe system, while you pay a bit more $$$ for it, it is extra safe.
Any way there is some ideas, i wish you luck with whatever power you do add... oh yeah, i have a buddy running 8psi on his stock 9000 2.0just food for thought. Cheers!
