With my '98 SET I was able to run about 2.0neg camber after making the holes at the top
of the strut elongated towards the inside of the car, and pushing the top of the strut inboard.
It doesn't go far, because the top of the strut will hit the body. More caster would be nice, but
due to the same clearance issue, is not really attainable w/o welding.

For better turn-in response you should have zero toe or some toe-out. Unfortunately, toe-out
combined with the negative camber is guaranteed to wear the inside of the front tires bald.
On my car, despite regular tire rotations and with me cornering around max grip as often as I could,
I still got significant inside tire wear. When I sold the car, I was pretty sure the new owner didn't
want this compromise, so I backed off the camber to about 1.5neg and set a tiny amount of toe-in.
It’s a little less willing, but still an improvement over stock - and the tires should wear more evenly.

Dean is right that replacement bushings at the lateral-arm to subframe (PU), lateral-arm to
rear-arm (PU), and rear-arm to subframe (ball joint) will help immensely. There are a few
sponsors that sell these parts (George’s Imports, ScanWest Autosport). You already have the
other VRK hardware, which is excellent. Good luck with it!
