Running only 16 to 18 psi.. the Boost is useless when there is any moisture onna road.. Tires just spin uselessly whgen the boost comes on..
No theatrics, just press the pedal and as soon as boost hits all traction is Gone. These are New MXv's.. Mebe better tires would help?
Not gonna spend $500 to find out tho.
Inna dry, 1st gear boost is useless, 2nd hits redline v (dangerously?)quickly and shifting Ain't quite like in a Miata in case anyone noticed :-)
Third and Fourth are great.,.. but unless yer racing someone onna Freeway.. not v practical at all in my experience.
Having said all that, the Boost 'rush' IS Fun.. just not of any real use, in city traffic, but then Saabs are not great in City Traffic anyways.. so no news there.
Dunno about 300hp.. sometimes those claims are just words.. but at 200 or less the trans can take a real beating.. mine is on it's second 'rebuild' Arguably the first may not have been as well done as the second :-).. But one dosen't normally expect new Bearings to Fail.
Remember this is the internet.. lots is exaggereation and lots more is simply untrue.. experiment for yourself for real answers.
