upgraded your turbos?
Im working on a nice 99 9-3 here with SQR stage3 software & a verry nice SS 3 inch exhaust
this thing has the T25 in there my turbo guy can put a bigger wheel in the stock compressor housing & crop the turbine wheel to free up the exhaust a lil which will add a lil more lag but what you get in exchange is well worth it :-) lower EGTs & more HP
this is a decent upgrade & I can have done verry affordably but its not like bolting on a GT30 or a 19T friggin mitsu
I just want to give this guy the best upgrade & do it affordably I mean I gould literally fab an equal lenth header & bolt on a GT30 but that would be spendie :-)
what are some of the things you all have done to get more flow from the poor lil T25 or going to another turbo? whats up with this T25/T28 hybrid?
in talking with my turbo guy aparently the GT28 is bareley bigger than a T25 the ARs on the housings is more but the wheels are tiny & this is why they spool up so niceley I mean Im sure a GT28 outflows a T25 & mabey even a T28
blah blah blah......
thanks & have a great week'
