It's always better to error on the side of safety. I do also sell a two point sub-frame, but to be honest just don't sell anything that could possibly cause safety issues. Abbott Racing orginally designed the the first Saab sub-frame brace out of a hollow pipe with washers welded on the ends, poor quality why not make billet ends? The advantage of the Abbott sub-frame is that due to it being hollow it crumbled quite easily in any accidents. The disadvantage of the Abbott sub-frame was that it took up ground clearance, which most didn't want or need. We, I mean MP then designed a sub-frame that had billet ends and a solid bar instead of the hollow tube to get rid of the ground clearance issues. One of the things we did have to consider though while making this part was did it compromise the car during accidents? and after discussing this with aero space engineers from Lockheed decided that with the proper mounting points and hardware that this would not be an issue. Liabilty issues are just to big for some of these products. I wish you the best of luck as always but think that this safety issues is something never to overlook or discuss with people asking about these products. I think that this product maybe a great product for off road use but do question it's use on the daily driver. We can also agree to disagree, but these message boards were designed to bring up any discussion on issues like these.
