I think it's awesome how you're getting the best the saab engine can give, but can you give any suggestions to others who don't have the access to spare transmissions or the mechanical skills to slap a new one in when the old one succumbs to too much power?

Can you give any guidelines about power upgrades that won't violate the abilities of the notoriously wimpy saab 900 transmission?

What are some "safe" improvements?
What are some "pushing-it" improvements?
What are some "start shopping for another tranny" improvements?

Thanks a lot for your guidelines. Surely everything that gives more "umph" puts an additional strain on the transmission, but where do you cross the line from safe upgrades into "i'm messing with my transmission" upgrades?

This is may be hard to answer but I hope you can give your expert opinion.
