Thanks for the great responses. I'll try to find an autocross event or a big empty parking lot around here to practice.
I'm glad to hear the engine is so durable, but how about the clutch?
The car has a new clutch, and I want to make it last a long time :)
I've gotten this "burning clutch" smell a few times when accelerating fast from a stop. I don't know how normal that is or what causes it exactly, because it doesn't usually happen.
One other question, this car has what I take to be good almost-new tires (Yoko AVS ES100). How close to the maximum do I want to inflate them? From what I understand, more pressure leads to stiffer handling, and less rolling friction. I've also heard that a little less air makes them grip better. Any thoughts?
