After obsessing about the handling characteristics of my car, I've found out alot about the various springs out there the hard way.
I first put the Viggen springs in my 99 9-3 thinking that Saab wouldn't notice. Then I went for the Eibachs and Koni dampers. Finally, I'm using B&G springs. My friend gave me the Viggen springs when he got Abbott springs. Here's the lowdown

Viggen Springs:
The rears are the stiffest I've seen. It also made the rear seem "jacked up". The fronts were soft compared to the rear. The rear didn't move much but the front did like a hobby horse. Sure, the car handled better but it rattled my teeth and the front bounced too much. Steering feel was way off. ( this led me to do the steering rack brace and Abbott bushings which really helped )

Eibach Springs:
Thinking the Eibachs would be stiffer I installed the Konis at this point too. The first thing I noticed was how soft the rear springs were. The fronts were about the same as the Viggen springs but lower. The balance was nice. The ride much much smoother. There was still that hobby horse bounce issue over bumps. The car looked better and handled better than with the Viggen springs. I kept thinking I was hitting the bump-stops and it was floaty on the highway. To get it to handle very well on smooth roads, I needed to stiffen the Konis alot which would just pump down the springs. If you're going to keep the stock dampers, these might be a good choice.

B&G Springs:
These are very similar to Abbotts in how they operate. They're comfortable like the Eibachs but there's less float. There's less body roll. The car is lowered a bit less than the Eibachs but it looks great. They're slightly stiffer than the Eibachs. The rears are in between the Viggen and Eibachs for stiffness. The fronts seem to be the stiffest but not by much. The car handles the best with these. It might be a rough ride with the stock dampers.

Abbott Racing:
Well, my friends car rides great with them.

Swedish Dynamics:
OK, I never used these but considering that they're only %5 stiffer than Abbott or B&G, they're just fine if you have Koni dampers.
