I'm not so sure about that unless you're on a clean track. If you have it up around 1 turn and try to go very fast around bumpy corners, it can pump the spring up and keep the tire from coming back in contact with the road over bumps. There are certain rather bumpy offramps up here in MA and NH that I have to take slower with the Konis on very stiff.
Now, if the roads are smooth, well "crank them up!".
Perhaps this will be different now that I took out the Eibachs and put in the B&Gs. The B&Gs are nice. More control and still comfortable. I thought it was still a smidge floaty until I got in my friends Volvo S70. Sheesh! What a soft ride. Don't get me started.
