Inga,
The MAGNECOR wire sets are available in the 8.0mm which will be the best wire for your BOSCH ignition system. The 8.5mm will actually provide less spark energy than the 8.0mm and may even cause problems relative to ignition performance (IE We do not recommend use of the 8.5mm wire sets unless employing aftermarket/high performance ignition system/components)
etc.). The advantage of the 8.0mm wire is that it will provide better spark energy than the factory wire sets and will not degrade over time. You can view our findings from our website(shameless plug?) under our ignition wire pages and we also stock the 8.0mm wires for all SAAB.
Best of luck and regards,
Gary at WWW.SaabPerformanceParts.com
