My 85 is not my daily driver anymore. I have been running a couple different tests on her. I know that you guys have done a ton already. I live out side the box most days. I do plan to use a stronger coil in the near future so I'll be testing the 8.5's with the stock coil. Week or two.

As for as test goes.
Just wanted to run this buy ya'll.
I have an 85. We all know the turbo is oil cooled. I have installed a small oil cooler on the front right side of the car. (not the auto tranny) I got the cooler from the 8 valve 900. I took the oil line that comes from the block and took it to the cooler then back to the turbo. I might be running a bit too cool. But living in the South, that will change come spring to fall.

The other test I'm looking at is putting a heat exchanger in somewhere under the hood. I read somewhere the WRX's in 95 had'em in their rally cars. I thought that it might be a great way to keep the temp down and more even across the board. For starters I might have to get a bigger rad. or at least make sure she's super clean and clear.Among other things I need to do some more reseach and data collection first. I'd like to get some readings of different.
