When you use the monoball to lower the lower control arm it does induce more bump steer. A general rule of thumb on the tie rod location for the classic 900 front supension and steering is, the lower control arm and the tie rod from rack to hub need to be parralell when viewed fron the front. We have used hiem joints in place of the tie rod end to get the bump steer we are looking for. The earlier outer tie rod ends will induce less bump steer in a lowered car.
The rear pan hard rod heigth is a funtion or rear center of gravity heigth and howmuch roll coulpe you wish the rear of the car to absorb.
We adjust the rear roll center height to provide a good turn in conditions they increase the rear spring rate to take the push out of the exit of the turn. This make a very twitchy car but it is very fast.
Another way to explain rear roll center effect is we adjust the height to make the car take a set quicker going into the turn.
Give me a call some day. I might beable to get you there quicker.
