The above post references a Porsche GT-2 owners response to encountering my 9000 AERO at a Porsche Drivers education event at which I was instructing.
This is from a Porsche Club of America regional website, and involves one of Porsache's highest performance cars ever produced for road use. The driver has put over 25000 miles on this car and he can drive it much better than I can, it is a very difficult car to master, just the opposite of the GT-3 or New Twin turbo also mentioned in the article.
This is a post from an earlier event but I bring it up again because it was instrumental in my receiving my national advanced instructors rating from PCA, after an instructors clinic at Spokane Washington in october.
I am in no way trying to equate Saab and Porsche in this context. The Porsche connection allows auto enthusiasts to run track events properly sanctioned and safely conducted. In smaller regions like ours it is open to drivers of all types of cars.
Just for reference, we only had to charge each of the participants $35 to cover expenses for a two day event at our 2.5 mile road track event.This is about 10% what it costs in most areas.
