I'd do what jak is suggesting. Putting a 2.3 in only makes sense if you put one in with the T5 ECU - the T5 is more conducive to tuning software than earlier versions or T7's. Also, a T5 engine has a different bolt pattern and input shaft diameter, so only '94-up transaxles can be used. It would take so much $'s and time to do the swap that you'd probably be better off just buying a T5 vehicle. There's plenty of power that can yet be had from the B202 - I'm sure jak can help you out in that area - but for a start, I'd decongest the intake and exhaust: a bigger downpipe and less restrictive intake box will go a long way in making the B202 more responsive.
