Chaz, I recently installed an aluminum bov from stratmosphere.com. The brand is "Forge". The quality is 100 times better than the flimsy bosch. This thing comes with lifetime warranty too. I think it was $130. It might be a coincidence that your bosch valve diaphram developed a split right after you swapped the exhaust. I replaced my stock bosch with the viggen unit only to have it go out in a year or so. IT has the same weak rubber diaphram. THe only noticeable difference is the brass weight attached to the valve, which is to get rid of oscillation. It might also have a stiffer spring too?? My forge unit would not fit oriented the way I wanted it to but I believe it would fit in the opposite orientation. I added a short section of hose from valve to turbo inlet to make it work. But someone on here said it will work just as well installed either way.
