The APC solenoid didn't help either. I couldn’t find a signal to piggy-back a LED to. 2 wires of course, it is an 85 so I couldn't tell the color of the wires. But one gives you about 5v and the other was nothing. I couldn't figure out a way to get a signal from them I tried to ground out from a supply and from the 2 together.

I figure there is 4 ways of doing this. Have a supply all the time and ground out to the solenoid, and then ground out when there is a supply. None of which worked out.

The only other I can see doing this is by running a wire from the lead wire from the KS. Add an amplifier to the signal from this wire to the LED. But this would be way out of my league. I know it can be done; I have done it before (had it done) working with Fanuc robots at work. (I powder coat trucks for GM) I’ll try and talk to some of the guys from work and see if they have any ideas.

This has gone from a good idea to a mission in life. How I must really love my baby.

Inga = 900 Turbo with 279k miles.
I have made too many upgrades and improvements for me to enter. I’d take up too much space on Scott’s servers. Lol

Example moon roof was manual now auto.
I have 2 oil coolers
1 stock
1 pre turbo
Full body paint job with ghosting done to the hood!!

Let’s put it this way.
The only thing left of the car from the dealership in 85 is the turbo and gas tank.
