Once we have the basic plumbing figured out, here's another one:
The fender diagram on my 1988 900 Turbo Convertible shows a vacuum line to a shift indicator valve. That one barb plugged.
There's also (1) two female spade connectors and (2) a cut-off blue wire, from the nearby wiring harness.
I've never notice an upshift light.
The blue wire has 12 volts when the ignition switch is in "run" and it drops to about 5 volts when I pull out the fuse for "low beams."
Is the blue wire a dimmer for upshift light that's disconnected?
