Hey that sounds like a good day, even though it ended prematurely.
I'm interested to know how the rest of the car felt during the track driving...like:
How was the understeer at turn in?
How was the understeer mid-corner?
How was the understeer under power (corner exit)?
Were you able to rotate the car -by choice- at any time?
What anti-roll bars do you have? What size/type of tires?
Was the brake pedal firm, brake power, any fade?
What calipers/pads?
Was power delivery consistent throughout the run? Any reason to think
that heat-soak was cutting power down lap-to-lap? (Probably not w/ that FMIC).
I love that track days push your driving skills to make you better behind the
wheel and (if you choose) also push the car to the limits, which (after you fix it)
will make it better too!
