If you do a sand/bead blasted finish, you'll have to use some manner of wax or clearcoat over the surface, otherwise fingerprints and everything else on the road will make the finish all mottled. A blasted finish with a clearcoat does look good. It may be shiny, but you'll still get the color you're looking for. Good luck!
