Both Andrew and Chaz are correct regarding the ease in converting the 900 2.1 to LPT. The 1989 900T can be parted of it's turbocharger, exhaust manifold, exhaust system, and turbocharger plumbing (oil, coolant,inlet,intercooler)and these could be directly installed onto the the 2.1 liter NA 900 to convert to LPT.
It may be a good idea to consider fueling update and possibly an ignition retard or you could use the OEM 900 turbo ignition system on the LPT.
Factor a 5 horsepower gain per psi increment of forced induction (IE 5 psi boost pressure could generate 25 BHP).
