jak:This is an update to my no boost problem.I pulled the "w" hose off at the wastegate actuator and plugged it so boost would not leak to atmosphere.I drove the car-still no boost.I opened the hood and moved the throttle to rev the engine. It sounds like the turbo is sucking air.I notice that while revving the engine up,the rubber intercooler hose that goes from the intercooler to throttle delivery pipe collapses when the revs go up!It collapses all the way when I rev it really fast. So,I pull the rubber hose off of the compressor outlet to see if the turbo is in fact making boost. While revving the engine and holding my hand on the compressor outlet-BOOST!The turbo IS working. That's a relief.Do you agree that my intercooler is restricted? That's the only solution I can come to.Why else would the post-intercooler hose collapse like that?I currently am running the viggen intercooler and was going to switch to the mpperformance intercooler in a few weeks when they are done.Is there a way to try to clear out the intercooler?I was thinking pull it out and put some degreaser in there and then attach to a vacuum cleaner to try to suck out anything in it.I could have sworn I pulled out all rags in any openings but maybe I was wrong? Is it possible it's clogged with oil/residue?My last turbo did not have an oil consumption problem.Any Thoughts, suggestions,or opinions would be great.Note:I have greddy gauges and observed the following readings at idle:vacuum=420 mm Hg egt=400 degrees Celsius with car fully warmed.(Thought this might help.)
