Ok, so here I go again...

The motor is sitting on solid mounts made by me, which was necessary with the shifter mod I made. I flipped the shifter housing upside down and inverted the linkage balls on the shaft. This puts the pivot ball below the linkage ball and provides better geometry/ shorter throw without a super short shift shaft. The only other change is it takes out the ignition switch. I replaced the switch with the 4 flip cover toggle switches and the red starter button in the center console!!! It is now like arming a nuclear missle!!! I also replaced the factory gauges with the autometer carbon fiber series in the dash, but no longer have a speedo (dont really need one;) and put the manual boost controller in where the A/C selector switch was. I also moved the battery to the rear using an aluminum battery box and ran 1 ga cable to the battery cut off switch in the center console. I have it wired so that the only things powered with the battery key off are the power door locks and the interior lighting, the rest, including the starter , is powered by the battery switch. I had to adapt a GM sending unit, sold by autometer, for the fuel gauge. It worked out well since they offer a 8.5" long sender that drops right in the stock location and with a little bit of modification, the sender is held in with the stock threaded fitting. Momo street racer seats with TRS cam-lock 5-pt harnesses. I now have a Momo competition steering wheel with the F-1 horn button and an awesome carbon fiber shift knob!!!

The brakes are cross drilled with axis pads and stainless lines. I have koni shocks, B&G springs and SAS front and rear anti-sway bars. 16" super aeros with 215-50 BFG g-force KDW's (awesome tires, little rubbing in rear). I am looking at some 17x7 team dynamics wheels to add soon.

To make sure everything was up to par after the car slept for 2.5 years, I cranked the boost right under 5 psi. It was fun driving it like that, no grip in upper rpm 1st gear....Then I turned theboost up to a whopping:) 8psi...holy moose, I had forgotten how fast it could be!!!!! no traction in 1st or 2nd or even 3rd sometimes!!!!

My roommate has a cool digital video camera and when I get the mitsu turbo on I will get him to record some footage and post it...like everyone else is doing and I feel left out!!!!
