Well sad to say, changing the timing is not an easy thing.
There are basically two things controlling the timing: the hall-effect sensor which is on a bracket underneath the damper pulley, and software in the ECU.
Removing the damper pulley and machining the hall pickup or the "wheel" that triggers it might be a possibility but not easy to do especially if you want to change it repeatedly.
Changing the software in the ECU is even harder.
Crazy though it sounds, easiest might be to get a distributor from an older model with the hall pickup in it and wire that up - then you could change timing the "old-fashioned" way by rotating the distributor.
