I was driving the other day minding my own business when some guy in a Sentra Spec-V came up and stopped along side of me. When the light turned green he gunned his car around a two lane turn. Not to be outdone I gunned my car also (i was in the outside lane and had a wider turn to make) but when I came out of the turn we were still gunning our cars and I passed alright, but it took a little effort.
I have had a problem with my car rev-ing high and there is a feeling like I am not going anywhere. Other times my turbo has a really strong pull to it. The thing is I am never really sure when it will have that pull to it (whether I run premium fuel or mid-grade...to save money). My mechanic shortened the waste gate so i would have more base boost and this cleared up the problem somewhat, but even on the highway when I step on the gas in Sport mode I feel alot of reving and less turbo pull. why and will an upgraded ECU clear up the problem?
Also I have given it alot of thought and if I don't sell my aero then I will definitely by an SQR box from you sometime within the next week. My goal is to make my automatic as fast as possible and keep it reliable.
Thanks.
Greg
