The Kumho stuff came across the wire in Jan or Feb. I believe. Cooper sold their Products division (my dad is CFO of CooperStandard) to re-invest in a broader tire market. I believe they own the AVON name and have 12% of Kumho's stock. Yes, Cobra's suck. I have Toyos on my Saab and Yokohomas on my Z...and I get a 30% discount if that says anything. The Coopers work well for touring or just regular old passenger car tires...my dad has them on his Volvo and my mom has them on her mini-van.
Avons are pretty solid...from what I have heard. I had Kumho 712's and I loved them, but opted into Toyos for All seasons reasons.
