output, which simply switches between low (0 V) and high (0.8V) as the AFR goes between rich and lean. You can connect this to the ecu and it sort of works like the standard O2 sensor, but I was told that the WB sensor (either NTK or Bosch) doesn't respond as fast as a narrow band, so the signal the ecu gets isn't quite a direct replacement. Not sure if this means the idle will be not as smooth, or what else might not work as well. That said, I've used the simulated output on my WB (lambdaboy) to drive the ecu (LH2.2) on a '87 900T, and it seemed to work ok during a brief drive around the block...
