I have washed it down with gas, got most to all of it out. I just worry I have a grain and or two in with the valve stems or worse in the cams and lifters. I'm pretty sure most of the crud would flow down the timing chain opening to the oil pan, but what doesn't is what really has me worried! I don't have the same skills as you, but I have fudged this sometimes, and it seems I always pay for it in the end. (more then I would if I did it the right way the first time.)Murphy’s law I guess.
So after I get over the hurdle, I'd have the car back together for the most part. I'd still need to get the ic plumed and your fuel chip. On top of that, I'd need the rest of the exhaust put in. Cat back. Oh did I mention the turbos I have (3) all have cracks in the exhaust side housing, Need one of those too. Somebody or something is working against me on this trip. Ever since I started planning the trip, I have run into so many setbacks. I thought it was just life trying me, but now I wonder is it's some type of higher power. The SAAB gods do not like me right now.
