in C900's before and they really shouldn't be anywhere near screwing with the boost gauge. Did they replace the front speakers? I'm thinking that maybe when they messed with the driver's side, or perhaps reaching into the DIN slot they loosened something. The most common post-install problem that I've seen is the pneumatic heater control connector wasn't put back on.

In any case, it really shouldn't be too much of a problem fixing. I would go under the front drivers speaker and see if a lead/line was popped off. Might want to do this yourself. Very easy to do, and I'm hesitant to let a stereo installer ham-fist their way under my dash. IMHO, anyway...
