Well, why a Saab? I haven't seen any on autocross (at least around here). Plus, I've only worked on Saabs (whole 3 years). I currently have something like 15 Saabs right now. I have the parts (and the cars) and am familar and comfortable with Saabs. I've not touched anythin else and really don't want to. I'm not out to win (I don't think I have the driving skills), but to see how well Saabs hold up and something I can get into relatively cheap (sunk cost) and have lot of fun. Yeah, I've seen some guys in older Civics that run at least 3 seconds better than the next best times. It's my first time. If I really get into it, later, I might sell my fleet and get a real contender. But I don't see it happening. I had plans to gut the convertible for a while now. I might just do it (I gotta figure out how to keep the rain/snow out.) But thanks for the advice.
