Not that it's a nostalgic thing, it's just they are not designed to go anywhere fast. I am sure my harley would go over 100 mph but that's not why I purchased the bike. There are HP upgrades where you can get 80-110+ HP however then the bikes become noisy just not worth the $$$ to me.

I think in the past a lot of the reason peole buy harleys is they hold their value so well. When I traded my 02 in for my 04 it cost me $42.00, nothing can touch that!

Hopefully with the new emission regulations where Harley will more then likely have to switch to the water cooled engine like the v-rod has. So FINALLY they would have over 100-120 HP in stock engine
