i put on super aero wheels about a year ago, and the calipers showed, and looked bad. so i popped off the wheels, took off the caliper and hung it with zip ties (like previously mentioned) and laid an old sheet over everything else in the area (have to be careful of the overspray). i used some high temp ceramic stuff, rated to 1500 F or so. they looked great. however, you need to keep them clean. brake dust will still stick to them and the dust will rust, eventually leading to poorer looking calipers. this can happen no matter how you coat them.
