Cryogenic metal treatment

I'm surprised that there seems to be no mentioning of cryogenic metal tempering anywhere in this forum. Deep Cryo treatment can dramatically improve strength and durability of pretty much anything, and the c900 trans is a good candidate for some experimentation.
The treatment, if you haven't heard, works like this. Parts are placed into a chamber, where they are slowly chilled to 300 degrees below zero farenheit. When exposed to temps like this, the grain structure of the material is "rearranged", as molecules get as close to each other as they can possibly get. Once the low temp is reached, the material is then slowly warmed back to room temp, and the grain structure is now improved by having molecules that are equadistant from each other. This process can improve damn near any material you choose, and the results are quite impressive, considering how affordable it is. Top flight race teams use this process to improve gear durability, engine block strength, brake rotor life, and in all sorts of other applications as well.
