Accelerometer / G Meter for HP

I got a new Beltronics accelerometer/G force gizmo. Of course James at Group 9 will be pleased that his Stage II APC + 3" exhaust, + K&N air filter element + some bigger tires yielded an indicated 213 hp (still stock injectors & FPR and everything else). But only if you believe the meter. They weren't good runs, just on the street, actually yielding 163 (kind of a rolling start), 190 and 213 hp on the way to work. And calibration is a big issue. Anybody have any comments on these gizmos? Is 213 hp with some bolt on mods right? In calibration I added a couple hundred pounds to the book curb weight, for me and tools and stuff, but I don't know if curb weight is "dry" or with fuel. Anybody know? How do the tires (205 16 instead of 195 15) factor in for accuracy? Other non-default variables for a C900?
