The thing (Beltronics Vector FX2) has many variables that can be set. I used default for most of them:
(1) Estimated weight by adding 200 lbs to published curb weight;
(2) estimated CDA (Coefficient of Drag * Area) by rounding up from the manual's published Honda Civic CDA (Cd = .34 * A = 21 ft^2) since the herring burner is a bit bigger than the rice burner; I wonder why I couldn't just run a tape measure around the car and use simple geometry to get a measured frontal area?
(3) left things like drivetrain loss (.15) rolling resistance (.013) and I think some other stuff not in their manual that I can find. (I can only get the display with 12v.)
(4) you can set a "start" and "end" speed, so although your calibration is done from a dead stop, I was guessing I could do a rolling start. Probably not accurate.
(5) did another decent run on an entrance ramp and got 209 hp, which might be where the mods put the car.
