I'm finishing Grad school at Clemson. My '68 wagon sits in storage, my sonnet is being used to haul my 6'4" brother to the bottom of the local ski hill every morning in Boise, Idaho. Needless to say, the once sagging headliner has been removed. My numerous 99s are strewn throughout utah and Idaho with one here in SC as my daily driver. (I'm quiite alone in the older saab rhelm 'round these parts. Everyone takes the car for an old BMW for some reason. I've owned old BMWs and they have little if anything visually in common...sheesh!) I still have spindles, axles, body panels, sonnet III doors...all kinds of stuff sitting in my former back yard in Utah that will sadly hit the trash pile in the next few days. It's a shame to see 7 years of collecting parts go for not. I don't get the chance to wrench like I'd like to but I did bust my front motor mount in my 99 yesterday and had to reweld it today (I love being a sculpture student. All that equipment at my disposal...) I suppose it was meant to happen considering the engine I have in that car.
Do let me know if you think I can help with anything.
