The screen/vent in the panel is not on the later cars. That I know. The outside vents, if I understand what some are refering to, are there on all the cars. they are just behind the small windows. You can look inside those and see the small block of wood that the window hinge screws into (unless your's is rotted out.) If someone sealed those up, keep your little windows open until you find a way to open those vents back up. How the air circulates through there on the later cars, I haven't a clue as I've only really thought about it on my '72...the '74 I had was a repair and sell job and someone else did the headliner.
