Who said anything about a low-pressure turbo?

It's easy to get 750hp out of a 2-liter engine - you just need enough boost
and low life-expectancy targets. Turbo F1 engines were making as much as
1200hp in qualifying trim (BMW 1.5-liter four, circa mid-80s) before they
were banned.

The rallycross Viggens are 4WD, with a longitudinally-mounted engine and
the radiator and all the cooling plumbing in the back seat.

Which brings up a more immediate question: Saab is running 4WD rallycross
cars, how 'bout roadgoing 4WD? Not V70XC-type jacked-up pseudo-SUV, but a
real Audi-type passenger-car 4WD. I've had my share of powerful FWD cars,
and I don't want any more.

John.
