1992 900 S Cruise Control . . .
Posted by suzjim (more from suzjim) on Sat, 24 Mar 2001 19:20:57
. . . does not work most of the time. Now and then, it engages for a = few miles (e.g., 2-5 miles), then disengages for no reason, and will not = re-engage. Driving to California last month, it did not work at all. = Sometimes it disengages on the flat; sometimes uphill; sometimes = downhill. It's been looked at '6 ways to Sunday,' by 2 mechanics I've = used for over 20 years on my Saabs in Minnesota. One of them, in a = last-ditch-effort before my California trip, tried replacing the cruise = module with a 'good' used module, but to no avail. Is the only thing = left to buy a new module--that's $350 plus labor?? Jim Paulson, = Minnesota.
