9K Cooling
Posted by Robert Cole (more from Robert Cole) on Fri, 30 Jul 1999 14:12:05
Regarding your temp guage showing higher readings: my 87 900T temp has risen, especially at idle, since I started using synthetic oil. I am still at the 3/4 mark toward hot, at worst when the car is idling for a long time on a hot day, and most often in the one quarter or normal range under full load. I understand that Redline has an additive for coolant called Water Wetter, I believe, that will lower the coolant temperature. Check their website for the name of stores that might carry it. Their link is: http://www.redlineoil.com/
